Waiting on Baby Emelia

This couple is so precious. Their story is one of tears, patience, and how the Lord has blessed them. I taught third grade with Meg this year. She became such an incredible friend that I am so grateful for. Finding out that these two were expecting was one of the best things. There was so much joy and anticipation. It was such an honor to take these maternity pictures for she and Chris, and also photos of their new baby girl, which I can't wait to share! Chris and Meg, I know you have never experienced any kind of joy like the one of holding Emelia in your arms! She is such a doll, and you guys are amazing parents!

Waiting on and Welcoming Baby Bennett

Yes, insanely enough I am just getting around to blogging some pictures from October and November. Craziness! But, I didn't want to let these beautiful sessions pass without showing you! In October I met up with Stephanie and Andrew. I had taken photos of them before, but was so excited to take maternity pictures! It was the most perfect fall day and Stephanie was literally glowing! 

Then, in November, they welcomed their precious son, Bennett. When I did his pictures he was so sweet! He was so content and it was such a fun session!

Also, I was totally amazed with how he held his head up. Umm...hello, my name is Bennett and I am only a few days old!

Waiting on Baby Harper

I have known Rachel for a few years and she contacted me about shooting her sisters wedding earlier in the year! I was so excited to find out she wanted me to take maternity and newborn pictures for her in June. We took these on one of the hottest days and this mommy-to-be was such a trooper! Since then, she has given birth to a beautiful baby girl, who I will be sharing soon! :) Here are a few shots from her maternity pictures!

I loved these lily pads! They were huge!!

There is something so beautiful about a mom-to-be! There is so much sacrifice that goes into carrying a child for nine months! Women should be celebrated for all that they go through during those months. These images should be captured and remembered!  Congrats on your new baby girl! I can't wait to share more pictures of her very soon! :)

Amy (maternity)

I had quite a busy weekend! On Saturday, my amazing sister gave birth to my new nephew! In honor of that, I thought I would share a few pictures from our maternity session. It was cold and a little bit brief. I guess that's what happens when you have a toddler running around! :) But, she made thirty-seven weeks look pretty amazing! We are so thankful for this precious baby boy who is now out of her tummy! I will have LOTS to share from birth pictures to newborns in the next few weeks!
