Wedding, Bridals, and Engagement Favorites of 2017

I always feel really honored when someone chooses me to photograph their wedding, bridal portraits, or engagement photos. These are some of the most memorable days of their lives, and it means so much to me. I was so encouraged to be able to photograph so many precious couples this year. I loved being able to shoot engagement sessions and bridal portraits, and loved when Brett joined me to help photograph wedding days. These couples are so kind to allow us into the most special day of their lives. We leave so many weddings feeling like we were part of the family! It is truly such a privilege to be a small part of their day. So....thank you sweet brides (and grooms!) for choosing me and trusting me to capture memories from this special time in your life! 2017 was such a sweet year! 

Chelsea (Bridals)

When I first met Chelsea the day that we were taking engagement photos, I knew that she was going to be a beautiful bride. Not only is she beautiful, but she is so sweet. Now that their wedding is over, I can share her gorgeous bridals. The combination of her stunning dress, veil, and beautiful hydrangeas made these portraits so perfect. I love taking bridal portraits, because there is so much excitement as brides essentially get a "test run" of what everything will look like on their wedding day. I cannot wait to share more from their beautiful wedding! I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this sweet bride! :) 

Favorites from 2016

I cannot adequately express my gratitude to all of my sweet clients in 2016. I have truly been so blessed by so many. As I was going through all of the many sessions, weddings, and special events I had the privilege of photographing this year, I felt so thankful. I had the opportunity to shoot countless families, lots of weddings, a few births, and so many other special memories. 

This was my first full year both working and being a mama. So many of my first weddings in 2016 I spent breaks in the back of my car pumping (haha). Many of you were kind enough to reschedule if my little one was sick. I cannot get over the grace that I was shown. 

Thank you so much to those of you who have allowed me to be a small part of your memories. Thank you to those who have come back year after year to let me take photos of your precious families. Thank you to those who let me be in the room as you gave birth. Thank you to my sweet couples who allowed me to be with you through your engagement and your wedding days. I am overwhelmed by how this little business has grown. 

To those of you that I get the privilege of serving in 2017, I am so excited!! Thank you for entrusting me to capture  your most priceless memories!

Anna (Bridals)

Anna and Lawson's wedding was this past weekend, and I am thrilled to be sharing her bridal portraits today! When I first met Anna I knew she was going to be the most stunning bride. That wasn't hard to see. She is absolutely gorgeous, but she has such a gentle and humble spirit about her. We took the photos at her grandmother's property on a perfect afternoon! When Anna received her bridal portraits she sent me the sweetest message telling me...."Oh my goodness! I am dying! They are beautiful! I had no idea I was that pretty!" If you know Anna, you know that she said it in the most humble way possible. I honestly couldn't believe she didn't know how gorgeous she was! :) I can't wait to share more from their wedding, but for today...enjoy her precious bridals! 

Alivia (bridals)

Sweet Alivia..... I only took these photos a couple of weeks ago, but I could not wait to share them! Their wedding was this weekend, so I am free to share how absolutely stunning Alivia looked on her wedding day! We took her bridal photos in the same location of their wedding. It was hot, but we had so much fun! We walked all over their property, and Alivia was so sweet to oblige me with whatever I asked her to do! It wasn't challenging to make her look good! She is so beautiful, and I just love how these turned out, which is obvious because I could not choose just a couple of favorites! :) 

Ansley (bridals)

When Ansley walked out in her gorgeous gown, I was blown away. I wasn't surprised by any means...she is such a pretty girl, and I knew she would be beautiful no matter what the gown looked like. Everything from the gown and the pink shoes to her monogrammed cathedral veil was so perfect! Her parents and a couple of friends came with her to help, and we laughed so much of the time. This is one loved girl! She was stunning as she twirled and walked and smiled. It was such a perfect day for pictures! 

I can't wait to share her wedding day soon, but for now...enjoy some of her gorgeous bridal portraits! 

Emily (bridals)

I feel like I am typically so blessed to have the sweetest brides that come to me. I had emailed back and forth with Emily several times prior to meeting her, and while we didn't get to do an engagement session, I met her before her wedding to take some gorgeous bridals. Emily is the sweetest! She was so relaxed, and extremely confident. She looked stunning in her bridals, and of course on her wedding day, which I will be sharing soon! :) 

Hannah (bridals)

It was so hard to narrow down Hannah's beautiful bridals. We took them at her wedding venue on a less than beautiful day. Hannah is so easy-going that it didn't even matter that it started raining a bit as we were taking pictures. She just went with the flow, and we got some great pictures. I cannot wait to share her wedding day soon, but for now, enjoy some of her gorgeous bridal portraits! 

Katie (bridals)

This beautiful girl has been a friend for a while. If you remember, I shared she and Dave's engagement pictures a while back. Her wedding will be on the blog very soon! Her bridal portraits were so much fun! It was a gorgeous day, and Katie wanted to take them at her parents beautiful home. I was so excited to share these after their wedding. Katie's dress was so incredibly perfect, and she was the most beautiful bride!

I love this! That beautiful picture above the mantle is a portrait of Katie when she was younger. Katie, you are gorgeous! Thank you for letting me take your bridal portraits! Can't wait to share their wedding very soon!

Ashley (Bridals)

This girl....Ashley has one of the absolute sweetest spirits! She is seriously one of the kindest people that I have had the privilege of taking pictures of! When I met with Ashley and her groom about a year ago and they decided to book with me I was so excited! They are the sweetest couple and I can't wait to share some from their wedding very soon! But first, I met up with Ashley a few weeks before and we had so much fun taking her bridal portraits! She was a stunning bride and up for anything which is always so fun! Ashley, thank you so much! I had so much fun taking these!!I told you! Her smile is contagious and she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the inside! :)
