Wedding, Bridals, and Engagement Favorites of 2017

I always feel really honored when someone chooses me to photograph their wedding, bridal portraits, or engagement photos. These are some of the most memorable days of their lives, and it means so much to me. I was so encouraged to be able to photograph so many precious couples this year. I loved being able to shoot engagement sessions and bridal portraits, and loved when Brett joined me to help photograph wedding days. These couples are so kind to allow us into the most special day of their lives. We leave so many weddings feeling like we were part of the family! It is truly such a privilege to be a small part of their day. So....thank you sweet brides (and grooms!) for choosing me and trusting me to capture memories from this special time in your life! 2017 was such a sweet year! 

Favorites from 2016

I cannot adequately express my gratitude to all of my sweet clients in 2016. I have truly been so blessed by so many. As I was going through all of the many sessions, weddings, and special events I had the privilege of photographing this year, I felt so thankful. I had the opportunity to shoot countless families, lots of weddings, a few births, and so many other special memories. 

This was my first full year both working and being a mama. So many of my first weddings in 2016 I spent breaks in the back of my car pumping (haha). Many of you were kind enough to reschedule if my little one was sick. I cannot get over the grace that I was shown. 

Thank you so much to those of you who have allowed me to be a small part of your memories. Thank you to those who have come back year after year to let me take photos of your precious families. Thank you to those who let me be in the room as you gave birth. Thank you to my sweet couples who allowed me to be with you through your engagement and your wedding days. I am overwhelmed by how this little business has grown. 

To those of you that I get the privilege of serving in 2017, I am so excited!! Thank you for entrusting me to capture  your most priceless memories!

Alivia and Samuel

Alivia and Samuel were married back in August, at her grandparents property on a beautiful day! Alivia is stunning as you may remember from their engagement photos and her bridal portraits, and I had been looking forward to this wedding for months! It was such a perfect day. The way Samuel and Alivia looked at each other all evening was so precious. Most importantly, God was glorified in their ceremony. Now, of course if you live in the south you know that an outdoor August wedding is going to be quite warm! You would think this might hinder some guests....Not for these two. The party lasted well into the evening and Alivia and Samuel were surrounded by the sweetest friends and family who danced all night long!! Alivia and Samuel, thank you so much for allowing me to be a small part of such a special day! :) 

Austin and Jillian (married)

I love this couple. When I met up with them for their engagement photos and got to spend time with them, I knew their wedding was going to be beautiful. They are so in love. Their wedding day was long awaited, as they had been apart for several months leading up to this day! They were married at Fort Conde, and everything was absolutely so perfect! I had never had the privilege of shooting a wedding there, and now I cannot wait to do another one! Although it was a hot May afternoon, everything about the evening was so perfect! Congrats Austin and Jillian! I hope that married life is treating you well! 

Beau and Ansley (married)

You have seen their engagement pictures and her gorgeous bridals, and now I am happy to show you their wedding day. Ansley and Beau are so precious. The groups that they chose to stand beside them were the best. Every detail was so perfect, and it was quite a party through the night! This couple was perfectly celebrated! Ansley and Beau, I hope that your first couple of months of marriage has been wonderful!! Thank you for letting me be a small part of your day!

Emily and Andrew (married)

I shared her gorgeous bridals earlier this week, and I am so excited to share their wedding day. This was one of the most loved couples. Their wedding was beautiful, but the reception....oh my the reception... It was such a fun party. It was as if all of their friends and family had been just as eager for this day as Emily and Andrew were. Honestly, Brett and I left feeling like we were part of the family. Andrew and Emily thanked us over and over again throughout the night, and they were celebrated just as they should have been. We had so much fun!!

TJ and Hannah (married)

You have already seen their engagement photos...and Hannah's bridals. But, their wedding day....it was so beautiful. This couple is so precious. They are seriously the best of friends, and it was the sweetest day. Everything from their first look to their exit was such a dream. Hannah was the most relaxed bride, and she just went with the flow the entire day. They both had the sweetest friends and family stand by their side. It is always such a joy to me when I can see how loved a couple truly is by their friends that are in their wedding party! Congrats TJ and Hannah! I hope these first months of marriage have been wonderful! 

Tyler and Jessica (married)

Tyler and Jessica were married back in October at a friend's property. It was such a beautiful day. I had the privilege to shoot their wedding last minute, and I am so grateful! I remember arriving and in the midst of the chaos, I could tell that all Jessica wanted was to see her groom. Then, I went and met Tyler at the place where their first look would occur, and he was just as excited! It was such a special day, and a party into the night! :) Thank you for letting me celebrate with you all!! 

Dave and Katie (married)

I was so excited for this wedding! After spending time with this sweet couple during their engagement session and seeing Katie's bridals, I could not wait for the day! Their wedding party was so much fun, and everyone was so excited for them! Katie was such a beautiful bride! We had a blast at their reception as well!
