Baby Sullivan

I cannot tell you how honored I was to take these pictures! Katherine has been my best friend since 6th grade! We have been through a whole lot together, and I cannot believe that she is now a mom of two! Sweet Sullivan was born early in September. He was the most perfect angel during the entire shoot! We moved him all around and he never fussed at all! Big sister Caroline was also very well-behaved! She is such a great big sister! Sullivan is such a great addition to this sweet family!

Today also happens to be a very special day.......It is his sweet mommy's birthday! Happy Birthday Katherine!! Love you dearly!

Samantha and Peter (married)

This was the first wedding that I had to get on an airplane to go and shoot! :) I was so excited to travel all the way to Michigan for this wedding. Peter has been a good friend since college and I was so thankful that he and Samantha asked me to come and do their wedding. What a privilege. It was also incredibly lovely to go from hot and humid to cool fall weather! Oh my word! They literally could not have asked for a more perfect day! It was beautiful and cool and perfectly fall! :) It was such a relaxed day and I was so happy to be apart!

Baby Bennett

This sweet mommy contacted me a few months before sweet Bennett was due. They live in Birmingham so obviously the distance was a little challenging, especially with me starting school before his due date! However, there was one weekend that Brett and I would be traveling through Birmingham, so we decided if it worked out we would go for it! Well, apparently Bennett was all for it because he made is grand entrance the week before! I was SO excited that I got to take these for this sweet family of three! Bennett is just precious and has definitely made this family complete!Amber and Bradley, thank you so much for allowing me to take these! I am glad that Bennett decided to arrive in time for me to be there! He is precious and I can't wait to see him grow up!

Sweet Sadie

This beautiful girl is my fourth niece! She was welcomed early in August by my brother and sister-in-law and two very proud big sisters! She is just the sweetest and we are all pretty smitten with her! She was as content as can be when I photographed her! We are SO thankful for her life and thankful for a healthy baby girl! Three girls in this family......my brother is quite outnumbered, but I don't think he minds too much! 

It doesn't get any cuter!! :)We love you Sadie Frances and we are so so so happy that you are here and apart of our crazy crew!

Austin and Laura Jo (married)

This day was one that I had anticipated for such a long time! These are the sweetest friends and I woke up that day so excited for them! The wedding was in Baton Rouge where this couple now lives and are on staff with Campus Outreach. They pour out their lives to college students and I am so thankful for all that they do! Their wedding day was so God honoring and their wedding party was so incredibly happy for them! It was such a fun day. Laura Jo was the most beautiful bride and you could tell that Austin knew he was the luckiest guy in the world! :) 

I love this picture. It is so Laura Jo....she was perfectly calm and so sweet that day. She was concerned about everyone else and we had so much fun just hanging out!

First look....This was Austin's face pretty much the whole day! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for allowing me the absolute privilege of being there on your special day! I love you guys so much and am so grateful for your friendship!

The Morris Girls

These sisters....they were the sweetest! It was SO HOT on this particular afternoon, but they were such great sports and really  loved being in front of the camera! Dad jumped in for a few as well and I am so glad! I had so much fun taking these!

Piper

It's been a long time since I have blogged! Far too long! :) I will be posting all of this craziness I have been up to very soon!! :) I have so many wonderful shoots to share!

This little girl's grandmother contacted me back in August to do some pictures! I was so excited that I had one day where I could take them! I met them at their beautiful home! There were so many pretty spots! Piper did such a great job enduring the heat and she gave me some sweet pictures and funny faces! :)

If this was in my backyard....ahh! :)I am so glad I got to take these for her grandmother! We had so much fun!

Austin and Anna (engaged)

Today's engagement session is pretty special! I have known Austin since.......forever. Our families were always around each other when we were growing up. I haven't known Anna quite as long, but they have been together for a long time! They are the most beautiful couple and I had a hard time narrowing pictures down for their post! There were so many sweet ones and obviously they are a stunning couple! We took them at the place where they will say, "I do" in August! We had so much fun and I am so happy with how this turned out!

Judson and Anna (engaged)

This couple.....they hold a special place in my heart! :) Judson was Brett's roommate for several years while in college. We have seen Anna and Judson date, fall in love, and get engaged. I even got to take pictures of them getting engaged which was so fun!

They are the most precious couple. They have SO much fun together and you can just see how much Judson adores Anna! I was so happy that they asked me to take their engagement pictures and I am so excited for them to be married! 

Judson did so good with Anna's ring! 

I love this! We laughed 95% of the session! So fun!

Judson and Anna recently purchased their home that they will live in once they are married so we thought it would be fun to end with a few pictures there! I am so glad that we did!

Frankie and Katherine (engaged)

I met Katherine and Frankie at my first wedding in May. I got a message from Katherine at the beginning of June telling me that she had gotten engaged! I was so thrilled! We had so much fun taking their engagement pictures! Frankie was such a good sport and they are really such a wonderful couple! It was really hot and I can definitely speak for them in saying that we all can't wait for a cooler November wedding! :)
