Nate and Anna Claire (married)

WeddingsLaura KittrellComment

I really can't say enough sweet things about this couple. They have been together for a long time, and this wedding had certainly been a long awaited event! They were both so incredibly genuine, and just so crazy about one another! Their families were so precious and made us feel like we had been friends with them forever! We were certainly treated like guests at their wedding! Anna Claire was the most calm bride. They both just could not wait to officially be husband and wife! We were so thankful we got to be a small part of their special day!

Seriously beautiful bride!!

Jayci (Senior)

SeniorsLaura KittrellComment

I really do not do a ton of senior shoots, and I don't know why! I think weddings, engagements, and babies tend to keep me so busy! However, I really wish I did more, because let's talk about how fun they are!! I have known this sweet senior's sister for years now. She played such an influential role in my life in college...love you Ash!! So...when she called me about doing Jayci's senior pictures, I was thrilled! Clearly this girl is just beautiful, and we had so much fun! Imagine me at 33 weeks pregnant hopping through thick grass and shooting so incredibly fast in order to beat the rain! We had a blast, and I am so glad that I got to take them for her!

Baby Virginia

NewbornsLaura KittrellComment

I love getting to do newborn shoots because I get to go into clients homes and do a more lifestyle shoot. Morgan is a friend I have known for a long time, and I knew that this baby girl would be just beautiful! I was so excited when she contacted me in April to take some pictures of her sweet Virginia. She was awake for a good portion of the time, and was so sweet and alert! This little one is now 5 months old, and just adorable! I have loved getting to see pictures of how much she has grown!

TJ and Hannah (engaged)

EngagementsLaura KittrellComment

I had so much fun with this couple! I have known Hannah for a while, and was SO excited when she contacted me about photographing their wedding and engagement! Hannah is precious, and seeing she and TJ together was so fun. They are so easy going, and just crazy about each other! TJ definitely knows how to make Hannah laugh, and they were easy to photograph because of how comfortable they were! I cannot wait for their wedding in November!! It is coming up so quickly!

Thoughts on Motherhood (Volume 2)

PersonalLaura Kittrell3 Comments

I have been a mommy for over eight weeks now. It has been such a quick eight weeks, and yet the days sometimes seem so long. Each day is a new adventure. As crazy as it sounds, I truly can't believe all that I learn each day. I can't believe how much my sweet baby changes. She is growing and growing. She is getting more mature. She is learning new things, and getting smarter all the time.

Evelyn Anne (Birth Story)

PersonalLaura Kittrell1 Comment

July 14th will forever be a most special day. We saw the goodness of the Lord. I learned in a very clear way that sometimes you have to let go of any expectations or control. But let's be honest, Evelyn's entire story has been one of me letting go of control and trusting the Lord. Brett and I had decided that we wanted to have an unmedicated birth. Well, actually Brett really just wanted me to do whatever I wanted to do, and I wanted it to unmedicated. (Crazy lady?) :) I had several reasons, but one being that I really wanted to know what it was like and see if I could do it.

Thoughts on Motherhood (Volume 1)

Goodness me! I have officially held the title of "mother" for 24 days. In some ways it feels like much longer, but mostly I can't even believe she will be one month old next week. I can't even remember what life was like before my sweet Evelyn arrived. Actually, that isn't true. I remember sleeping more, having my shirt buttoned a lot more :) , and getting a lot more time to myself. These last 24 days have been the greatest. They have been the fastest, but the longest at the same time. I have given more of myself to this little life. I have learned some pretty great lessons. I have (I am sure) made plenty of mistakes. I have cried. I have laughed. I have been exhausted.

Sweet Catherine Grace

I cannot say enough about this sweet family. I met Jessica and Brian months earlier when I took some photos for just the two of them. They also let me in on their news that they were expecting this little angel. It was very early on, and I felt so privileged to know! :) Back in April Catherine Grace made her entrance a few weeks early. She was born really close to Easter, and I was so thankful I got to take some precious pictures of her!

The Pritchard Family

FamiliesLaura KittrellComment

Amber and Josh have been sweet friends since high school. I had the privilege of taking some 1 year photos of their oldest a while ago. Now they have their second son, and he has just turned one. They are the cutest little family! We tried to take some family pictures first, but then the main event was 1 year photos of sweet little Mason. Also...I have to say, I think mommy and daddy each have a twin with these little boys! :)

Waiting on Baby Emelia

MaternityLaura KittrellComment

This couple is so precious. Their story is one of tears, patience, and how the Lord has blessed them. I taught third grade with Meg this year. She became such an incredible friend that I am so grateful for. Finding out that these two were expecting was one of the best things. There was so much joy and anticipation. It was such an honor to take these maternity pictures for she and Chris, and also photos of their new baby girl, which I can't wait to share! Chris and Meg, I know you have never experienced any kind of joy like the one of holding Emelia in your arms! She is such a doll, and you guys are amazing parents!
